Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the FunRGB website, its color collections, palette and gradient references, browser-based tools, and related content (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Currently Available Service

FunRGB currently lets visitors browse colors, gradients and palettes and use public tools to select colors and generate CSS colors, gradients and palettes.

The public Service does not currently offer user registration, user login, profiles, cloud storage, public content submission, paid subscriptions or purchases. Tool results are created in your browser for you to copy and are not saved to a public user account. Content displayed in the public collections is selected and managed by FunRGB.

A private administrator login is used only to operate the Service. It is not a public account feature, and attempting to access restricted administrative areas without authorization is prohibited.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use FunRGB for lawful personal or commercial design work, subject to these Terms. You must not:

  • break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • upload or transmit malware or harmful code;
  • attempt to access private administrative systems or bypass security controls;
  • interfere with the security, availability or performance of the Service;
  • use automated requests in a way that places an unreasonable load on the Service; or
  • misrepresent your connection with or endorsement by FunRGB.

4. FunRGB Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interface, branding, text, graphics and curated collections, is owned by or licensed to FunRGB and may be protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms allow you to access and use the Service as provided; they do not transfer ownership of FunRGB’s website, source code, branding or content.

You may use color values and CSS output generated by the public tools in your own projects. A color value by itself may not be protected in the same way as original text, artwork, software or a curated work. You remain responsible for checking whether your broader design or intended use affects third-party rights.

You must not systematically copy the Service to build a competing database, remove proprietary notices, or use FunRGB names or logos without permission.

5. Generated Results and Color Accuracy

Colors, conversions, gradients, palettes, CSS output and previews are provided as creative and technical aids. Displayed and printed colors can vary by screen, browser, color profile, lighting, printer, ink and material.

Review and test results before using them in production, printing, manufacturing, branding, accessibility compliance or safety-critical work. FunRGB does not guarantee that a result is unique, legally protectable or suitable for a particular purpose.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service includes links to third-party websites and social networks and uses external infrastructure and analytics services. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. FunRGB does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices.

7. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may correct, change, limit or remove features and content, and the Service may be interrupted by maintenance, technical failures, security incidents or events outside our control.

We do not promise that the Service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of information are described in the Privacy Policy. Information about cookies and Google Analytics is available in the Cookie Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FunRGB and its operators, contractors and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, our practices or legal requirements. The updated version and revision date will be published on this page. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, stop using the Service.

11. General Provisions

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement governing your use of the currently available Service.
